Adekunle Gold: ‘Catch Me If You Can’, My Best Album

Nigeria Singer Adekunle Gold has revealed that his fourth album is the best project he has embarked on so far.

The artist disclosed this on Twitter, after dropping his Album early hours on Friday. He wrote “Never seen a greater miracle than myself. My 4th album Catch Me If You Can is out nationwide and it’s the best project I have ever made. Now I don taste freedom, no stopping me! I hope you take your time to listen with ease, he wrote.”(sic)

The album contains thirteen tracks including previously released singles such as ‘Sinner,’ ‘Mercy’, ‘It Is What It Is’ and ‘High’ featuring Davido.

Speaking about the project, Gold wrote: “How long it took to finalize the tracklist is unforgivable (sorry to my team). But all passengers are boarded and we are ready to take flight. Buckle up, It’s about to be a movie.”

Born Adekunle Kosoko on January 28, 1987, he is a Nigerian highlife singer, songwriter and graphic designer who gained widespread attention after releasing the 2015 hit single “Sade”, a highlife cover of One Direction’s “Story of My Life”.

In 2015, he signed a record deal with YBNL Nation founded by iconic Nigerian rapper, Olamide, and released his debut studio album, Gold, which debuted at number 7 on the Billboard World Albums chart.

Gold was preceded by the release of three singles: “Sade”, “Orente” and “Pick Up”, which topped charts nationwide at the time.
