No fewer than 600 women have received palliatives in Ekiti Central Senatorial District to cushion the biting effects of the cash crunch across the country.
The palliatives were presented to the beneficiaries yesterday in Ado Ekiti by Mrs Yemisi Bamidele, wife of Senator Michael Opeyemi Bamidele representing the district.
The event was attended by the wife of the state governor, Dr Olayemi Oyebanji; and the Secretary to the State Government, Dr Habibat Adubiaro.
Bamidele thanked the people of the district for their support of her husband and appealed to the electorate to vote en mass for her husband and the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
