Cash crunch: Angry customers set ablaze ATM in Lagos

An Automated Teller Machine (ATM) at a bank in the Idi Araba area of Lagos has been burnt by some angry customers after the ATM reportedly ran out of cash.
It was learnt that the incident temporarily brought activities at the bank to a halt as police were mobilised to the scene.
The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, who confirmed the incident, said normalcy had been restored.
He, however, did not disclose the name of the bank or if any arrest was made.
