The Chief of Army Staff Lieutenant General Farouk Yahaya has tasked troops of 4 Special Forces Battalion, Doma to remain committed to secure the country from Boko Haram insurgents, kidnappers and bandits in the North and other parts of the country.
Yahaya gave the task in an interview with Daily Trust during a working visit to the battalion headquarters in Doma Local Government Area of Nasarawa State to inspect some facilities in the barracks.

He said the security challenges confronting the country were surmountable given the attention and commitment from the federal government.
The CAS, however, admonished the troops to always exhibit high professionalism, discipline and gallantry in discharging their duties in securing the country.
He also paid a visit to the paramount traditional ruler of the area, the Andoma of Doma, Alhaji Aliyu Onawo Ogah, where he urged traditional institutions to work closely with security agencies in the state.
The Andoma of Doma, Alhaji Aliyu Onawo Ogah, said the visit was timely as it would boost the confidence of the people in the fight against crimes and insecurity.
