Operatives of the FCT Police Command have arrested a man, Michael Uke, who allegedly snatched a car at gunpoint three months ago.
The Commissioner of Police (CP), Benneth Igweh, who disclosed this while parading the suspect on Monday, said he snatched a Toyota Corolla with registration number, ABC 258 LD, at gunpoint on May 2, 2024, on the Kuje-Airport highway.
He said the police tracked the suspect to a guest inn in Jabi, Abuja, where the suspect was found in possession of the car.
He further said, “The suspect had replaced another plate number on the vehicle with registration number AGD 146 JP. And during the search, POS machine, a knife and a military jungle hat were discovered in his possession.”
