One hundred and thirty three final year students of Capital Science Academy (CSA), Kuje, Abuja, have graduated from the school.
The event which was held on the school’s premises was the 16th of its kind since the establishment of the school.
In her address, the Principal of CSA, Mrs Rachael C.L. Borland, recognised the effort and resilience of the graduating students and their parents, noting that they endured a great deal of turmoil and challenges over the course of their academic voyage.
Mrs Borland said the graduates had made the school proud and therefore charged them to explore the wider world with their heads high without forgetting their foundation.
She reassured that the academy’s scholarship programme with Abbey/DLD colleges in the UK was alive and that the graduates could apply from January, 2022.
The Chairman of the academy’s Board of Directors, Prof Zaynab Alkali, also felicitated with the graduating students and their parents, while charging them to be good ambassadors of the school.
Prof Zainab highlighted some of the achievements the school had recorded in the past few years.
She said, “Academically, the school has received full re-accreditation. On matters of security, an issue of serious concern to the school, the management has tightened measures to ensure safety of students and staff.
“Now, to the other arms of CSA, the expansion of the Kado campus to accommodate SS1 has attracted many parents to the school.’’
A board member of the school, Alhaji Abdulrahman Dikko, appreciated parents for their trust in the school in its over 18 years of existence.
Alhaji Abdulrahman assured the parents that the quality of education offered in the school was second to none as many of the school’s alumni were graduating with first class degrees from various tertiary institutions.
