Cancel Ekiti APC congress now, Sen Adeyeye urges Buni c’ttee

The National Chairman, South-West Agenda for Bola Ahmed Tinubu, 2023 (SWAGA), Senator Dayo Adeyeye, has described the ward congress held in Ekiti State on Saturday as a charade and unacceptable.

He also demanded the Governor Mai Mala Buni-led Caretaker/Extraordinary National Convention Planning Committee to cancel the exercise.

Addressing newsmen Sunday in Ado-Ekiti, the state capital, Adeyeye said the ward congresses conducted in the state was “nothing near all democratic norms as it was warped, disorderly and perverse and can only be described as a charade.”

He said, “We want to believe that the Caretaker/Extraordinary National Convention Planning Committee of the APC meant well. But the presence of INEC officials was not felt at the congresses.”
