The Canadian Government has expressed its readiness to collaborate with the Ogun State Government, especially in the area of agriculture.
The Deputy High Commissioner of Canada to Nigeria, Teshome Nkrumah, who made this known during a courtesy visit to Governor Dapo Abiodun at Oke-Mosan office, Abeokuta, noted that the Canadian Government was on a mission to find out the opportunities in the local market.
“We are on agricultural outreach to try to find out the opportunities in the local market to do business and boost trade between the two countries. We are meeting business people, entrepreneurs just to see where the opportunities are.

“We are here to build bridges, make connections and see where we can make changes to move trade between both countries forward,” he noted.
In his response, Governor Dapo Abiodun expressed his administration’s willingness to collaborate with the Canadian government especially in the area of agriculture.
