The bill boards which are mainly for the aspirants of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) also proclaim their mission if voted into office.
The PDP governorship aspirants whose bill boards are noticed at every major entry into the city of Owerri include the deputy Speaker Federal House of Representatives, Emeka Ihedioha, Sen. Ifeanyi Araraume, the chairman Pan African Parliament, Bethel Amadi, Ken Njemaze, Chief Charles Onyeagbako, Chief Jerry Chukwueke, among others.
The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) so far has Chief Emman Ihenacho as its sole aspirant while the United Progressive Party (UPP) has Chief Osmond Ukanacho.
Meanwhile high level underground preparation is on within the Government House Owerri ahead of the expected declaration of the state governor, Rochas Okorocha.
Our correspondent learnt that the governor has procured more than 300 vehicles all painted in APC colours with other inscription such as “Rochas we know 2015”.
The vehicles according to an insider would be distributed to the party chairmen in the 27 local government areas of Imo State and to party stalwarts both at the state, wards and local government levels for campaign.
Mr. Sam Onwuemeodo who is the senior special assistant (media) to the governor when contacted, said the governor would talk to Imo people concerning his ambition in the next few weeks.
