The governorship candidate of the opposition People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Cross River State, Senator Sandy Ojang Onor, has said calls on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) not to use BVAS for accreditation and transmission of results of the 2023 general polls are criminal.
Speaking in Ikom yesterday, Onor, a professor of history, said: “Those canvassing for BVAS to be dropped are criminals; electoral criminals who should hide their faces in shame.
“BVAS has come to stay and we are very happy with INEC because INEC has insisted on its use. We are going to be BVAS compliant and that is where our confidence is hinged.

“From what we see, instead of the APC working hard, they are thinking of rigging. It will not come to that because we will not allow them rig. Our victory is inevitable by the grace of God and the will of our people.”
