CAF: Rivers Utd, Plateau Utd, Kwara Utd, Remo Stars continue continental glory hunt today

Nigeria’s representatives at the 2022/23 CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup will today continue their hunt for continental glories.

The Nigeria Professional Football League champions, Rivers United had defeated Liberian side, Watanga 3-0 in the first leg of the first preliminary round last week.

Kenechukwu Augustine, Ebube Duru and Paul Acquah were on the scoresheet at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium, Port Harcourt.

Watanga will be under pressure to overturn the goals deficit when the game starts by 5pm Nigerian time today at the Samuel Kanyon Doe Stadium in Monrovia.
