The Kano state government has again reiterated its support for the Kano Pillars FC ahead of its preparations to participate in the forthcoming CAF Confederation cup.
This was made known by the state commissioner for youths and sports development, Comrade Kabiru Ado Lakwaya while receiving the report of the ad-hoc committee set up by his ministry to come up with recommendations for a coach with CAF A licensing certificate as required by the Confederation of African Football, CAF.
“I really appreciate your efforts in putting heads together to come up with ideas that would help in moving Kano Pillars football club forward, the commissioner said.
Comrade Kabiru Ado Lakwaya said the report of the committee would be considered for appropriate action while commending the committee for a job well done.
Earlier, the chairman of the committee who doubled as the chairman of Kano state football Association, Alhaji Dr Sharif Rabi’u Inuwa Ahlan said the committee had received a curriculum vitae of over five coaches from various parts of the country for the job.
He also explained that they make recommendations and hope the Government would follow their recommendations and employed the best one among them.
