The non-indigenes members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bwari Area Council (FCT), have unanimously endorsed Nasir Shehu as a consensus aspirant for the council’s chairmanship position.
This decision was taken at a stakeholders meeting in the Kubwa 3 Model Primary School, which was also attended by the three aspirants.

Announcing the result of the ballots cast by the stakeholders to select one of the aspirants, the Area Council Legal Adviser, Barrister A. R. Abdulrahman, declared Malam Nasir Shehu of Usuma ward as the winner, with 18 votes and the two other contestants polled five and three votes respectively.
