A business mogul, Dr Ifeanyichukwu Odi, has won the PDP governorship ticket in Ebonyi State.
The electoral committee chairman, Olalekan Rotimi, said Odi scored the highest number of votes to defeat five other aspirants.

He said Odi polled 349 votes while his closest rival, Mr Christian Usulor, garnered nine votes and Mr Andrew Sunday six.
Chukwuma Nwazunku, Augustine Nwazunku, and Emmanuel Ezeh got one vote each.
Meanwhile, Odi in his acceptance speech pledged to work with every member of the party including those that contested along with him.
