Nigerian afrobeat star and Grammy-award winner, Burna Boy has lashed out at a fan of Wizkid over wrong claims about his show in the UK.

This is not the first time the “Ye” crooner would be harassed by the fan base of his peer in the Nigerian music industry, Wizkid.

Singer Rarara dumps Ganduje, pitches tent with Sharada

The online assault on the star began in the middle of August when a netizen posted an edited copy of American rapper, Offset’s Instagram story, narrating that he would feature Burna Boy in his latest song instead of Wizkid due to the high fee of the latter.

The post read; “My self and @burnaboygram got some fire coming!!! I reached out to Wizkid’s team so that he can jump on my record, but that mf too expensively had to go for someone lower than him. Thank You so much @burnaboygram.”(sic)

In as much as the post went viral, the African Giant decided not to respond.

Soon after, another false post came up, this time, the poster made a screenshot of the singer’s ex-lover, and British artiste, Stefflondon.

In the post, it was alleged that Steflondon quit their relationship because Burna Boy could not get her pregnant.

The post read, “So I didn’t want to mention this before, but f^ck it,  I gotta say it. y’all “African giant” is an impotent man, I left his ass cuz he couldn’t give me a baby.”(sic)

However, on Tuesday, August 23, 2022, a Twitter user and an apparent member of the Wizkid Fc, Mdee, threw a jab at the ‘Last Last’ singer.

The Twitter user claimed that tickets of Burna Boy’s sold-out show in the UK with over 1,600 people in attendance was sold for $14 with a free Compact Disc which was a scheme by the singer to feel the venue.

The user of the microblogging site wrote; “Imagine Wizkid was the one that sold tickets at $14, and for each ticket, he gives out one CD for free just to get number the 1 Album in UK, we won’t hear word again. Man sold 1,600 tickets meaning 1,600 CDs for free… LOL.

This time, the African Giant decided to take his time to respond to the Twitter user while he posted his picture on his verified account, saying; “I said this same thing a while ago but Wizkid’s Delusional Twitter FC said I was lying. Maybe if your true history was taught in your schools Wizkid would have a smarter Twitter FC instead of idiots like this.”
