In a chat with Daily Trust, the spokesperson for the Lagos State Police Command, Benjamin Hundeyin, simply said, “The man shot in the leg has reported to the police. The policemen are being investigated.”

Over the weekend, it was reported that a policeman attached to the multiple award-winning singer shot a man after Burna Boy flirted with his wife twice.

The singer’s gesture infuriated the lady’s husband, but while trying to address the issue, he was shot by one of Burna Boy’s police escorts, according to reports.

Shedding more light on the situation, a Twitter user with the handle, @Theflowolf, who claims to be a friend of the victim, stated that he was still in shock after what happened at the club.
