The thief forced himself into a bedroom upstairs in the £40m mansion in Holland Park and ransacked the place.

The theft was discovered the next morning when one of Beckham’s sons, 17-year-old Cruz returned home from a night in the town and spotted shards of glass, TheSun.Co.Uk reports.
David, reportedly called 999 and set about searching the mansion for the burglar with Cruz, while Harper the daughter, stayed with his wife Victoria waiting for the police.
A source close to the family told The Sun: ‘Unfortunately, the Beckham family were victims of some rather professional thieves who have operated in the area. Fortunately, the criminals only got as far as a bedroom before running away.”
Though no one was injured, the family is said to have been ‘shaken’ by the burglary.
The thief ran off with thousands of designer clothes, accessories and electrical items stored in the room.
