Governor Mai Mala Buni has presented N164,054,384,000 budget for 2022 to the Yobe State House of Assembly.
He said the budget would focus on the completion of all ongoing projects, provision of basic infrastructure, general increase in agricultural production, and speedy post-insurgency recovery development.

Buni said the budget tagged, ‘Budget of continuity, empowerment and accelerated development,” has N91,425,743,000 earmarked for recurrent with N72,628,641,000 for capital.
He stated that the budget was a 17.3 per cent increase over the 2021 budget.
