Buni, in a statement by the Director General (DG), Press and Media Affairs, Mamman Mohammed, described the death as a huge loss to his family, Yobe and Nigeria.
The governor said the late commissioner was an active, result-oriented and reliable member of the State Executive Council.
“While in the National Assembly, he protected the interests of his constituency, the state and the country,” he said.
Buni prayed to Allah (SWT) to forgive his shortcomings and grant him Aljannatur Firdaus, and to the family, the fortitude to bear the painful and irreparable loss.
