Vice President Kashim Shattima has described the first civilian governor of Yobe State, late Senator Bukar Abba Ibrahim as an icon of humility.
Kashim spoke at Yobe State Government House in Damaturu when he paid a condolence visit to the governor, Mai Mala Buni to commiserate with the state over the demise of Bukar.
He said the late Bukar Abba was an epitome of kindness and an icon of humility.
The Vice President said, “At the instance of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, I’m here to commiserate with the government and good people of Yobe state over the sad loss of one of the founders of Yobe.

“Yobe State University is one of his legacies, Shehu Sule School of Nursing is one of his legacies and Yobe State Polytechnic is set to be one of his legacies,” he said.
