The Bayero University Kano community has showered encomiums on one of its erudite academics, Professor Auwal Hamisu Yadudu, as he bows out of service.
At a book launch organised by the Faculty of Law of the institution held at Dangote Business School yesterday, the Vice Chancellor, Professor Sagir Adamu Abbas, described Professor Yadudu as a success story worth emulating.
Represented by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Academics, Professor Muhammad Sani Gumel, the VC stated that Yadudu’s positive contributions to the academic community and the nation would forever be referred to just as his role in the history of the Nigerian constitution would never be forgotten.
A former National President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Abubakar Balarabe Mahmoud, described Prof. Yadudu’s contribution as unquantifiable, adding that he hoped his retirement from scholarly service wouldn’t deter him from rendering his professional experience to national development.
