The Senate of Bayero University, Kano, has approved an adjustment to the 2020/2021 undergraduate second semester academic calendar.
This was contained in a resolution of the 348th meeting of the Senate, chaired by the vice chancellor of the school, Professor Sagir Adamu Abbas.

A statement by the Director of Examinations, Admissions and Records, Amina Umar Abdullahi, noted that under the new dispensation, the semester has a 14-week duration, with lectures to hold for 10 weeks, commencing from April 5, 2021, and ends on June 14, 2021.
It added that GSU examinations would hold between June 16 and 18, while the second semester examinations would hold between June 21 and July 10, 2021.
