“It is all lie,” he said.

“I knew nothing of it. Bashir, are you new in Nigeria or Kano? People out of their ulterior motive said a lot of lies about me.

“They said I died, they said I had an accident and my leg and hand have been amputated; they said my house was burnt down because I sang a song against Kwankwaso and Shekarau. Nothing is new. It was all lie,” he said.

The singer further said he is safe, sound and healthy.

“I am safe, sound and healthy; I am now in the studio composing a special song for Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano state that would be use during a special programme in Gama Ward where gubernatorial election would hold on Saturday,” he concluded.
