Buhari wins Lagos with 161,033

The APC Presidential candidate in last Saturday election, Gen. Muhamadu Buhari has emerged winner in Lagos State. Buhari polled a total of 792, 460 votes to defeat his closest rival, President Goodluck Jonathan of PDP who scored a total of 632,327 votes. According to the results announced from the 20 local governments in the state by the Lagos State Collation Officer, Prof. Isaac Adewole, who is also the Vice Chancellor of University of Ibadan, Buhari won in 15 local government areas as against Jonathan’s five local governments.
