President Muhammadu Buhari is expected in the country today after his ten working days vacation in London.

This is according to his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu.

“The President is expected back in the country on Saturday.

“For now, I can’t confirm the exact time he will land but protocol officials will alert us on time ahead so that we can move to the airport to receive him. He will definitely arrive in the country on Saturday,” he said in an interview with Punch.

President Muhammadu Buhari began a 10 working days holiday from August 3.

The presidency on Tuesday said that Buhari has not extended his London vacation.

Reports filtered round especially on social media that the President’s vacation has been extended.

Shehu said there was nothing like that.

In his reply to a text message by our correspondent, he said: " No. There is no such extension. We announced 10 working days, meaning Monday to Friday +Monday to Friday."
