He said they decided to join Atiku because “everything has collapsed, our children spent over 10 months at home, no right thinking Nigerian will want the APC to continue in power. You see the insecurity, the Naira cash crisis. People can no longer feed. We are tired.

” We are committed to working for the success of PDP because we believe Atiku has what it takes to unify the country, he has the experience to navigate the present situation and take the country to the next level. As vice president, Atiku has shown that he has the requisite criteria to get the country moving again. APC is finished as a party.”

Reading from a prepared speech, Gwoza said, ” The members of the President Muhammadu Buhari/ Yemi Osinbajo Nationwide Supporters Group wish to officially decamp and transmute her operations to the Atiku/Okowa Nationwide Supporters Group (AONSG) under the directive of PDP Presidential Campaign Council (PCC).

“The group is a formidable conglomerate of political sagacious like-minded individuals made of different supporters’ group, such as: Civil society organizations, Market women,
Civil servants, Artisan and Youth organizations.”

He said the membership strength of the group now stands at over Nine Million spread across the 36 states and Abuja and throughout the 774 local government areas.
