President Muhammadu Buhari is determined to make Nigeria a success story in the next four years, a member of Presidential Campaign Council and National Chairman of the APC Broom Platform, Dr. Tom Ohikere, said this yesterday in Abuja.
Ohikere, who reacted to Buhari’s statement that the next four years would be tough, stated that the president’s speech was misrepresented.
He said those misquoting the president were merely mischief makers who had lost out at the just concluded presidential and national assembly polls.
He said, “Those who say that the president is saying next four years would be tough are only giving a biased interpretation of the speech. The said statement was made in the presence of his cabinet members, supposedly intended to stir in them new drive and determination for the task ahead.
“The President has a vision of a reformed and transformed Nigeria and with the overwhelming mandate given to him at the polls, he knows that Nigerians are eager to see rapid changes in way the economy is administered and the security of lives and property guaranteed,” he said.
