President Muhammadu Buhari returned to Abuja in the early hours of Monday after participating in the 77th edition of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA77), in New York, the United States (US).
The President, who arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja before 7am was received by senior government officials, including the Chief of Staff to the President, Professor Ibrahim Gambari; the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Malam Mohammed Musa Bello; the Inspector-General of Police, Usman Alkali Baba; and some other senior military and intelligence officers.

President Buhari, while in New York, delivered his farewell national statement to the UNGA, and engaged in a couple of bilateral agreements and some other special events on the sidelines of the UNGA77.
