President Muhammadu Buhari yesterday approved the redeployment of 10 permanent secretaries and also the deployment of nine newly appointed ones.
The approval was contained in a circular signed by the Acting Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Folasade Yemi-Esan.
The spokesman of the Office of the Head of the Civil Service, Olawunmi Ogunmosunle, said this in a statement yesterday.
Those redeployed are Edet Sunday Akpan from the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment to Mines and Steel Development; Esther Walson-Jack from the Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs to Ministry of Power; Abdulkadir Mu’azu, from Mines and Steel Development to Agriculture and Rural Development; Mohammed Bello Umar, from Agriculture and Rural Development to Science and Technology; among others.
The nine newly appointed permanent secretaries and their deployment include Olusola Olayinka Idowu, Ministry of Budget and National Planning; David Adejo Andrew, OHCSF-Service Welfare Office; Nebeolisa Victor Anako, Police Service Commission; Evelyn N. Ngige, OSGF Economic and Political Affairs Office and Aliyu Ahmed Ministry of Finance (Special Duties), among others.
