President Muhammadu Buhari has just launched next year’s Armed Forces Remembrance Emblem and Appeal Fund with N10 million.
The President launched the fund at the State House Villa, Abuja before the commencement of today’s weekly Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting.
Daily Trust online reports that the annual event appreciates the gallantry and sacrifices made by veterans in the first and second world wars, peace keeping operations around the world and internal security operations, including the ongoing campaign against terrorism in Nigeria.
