Buhari holds emergency security meeting again

President Muhammadu Buhari is currently holding an emergency meeting with top security chiefs at the State House Villa, Daily Trust online reports.

The National Security Adviser, Babagana Monguno and Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris arrived the President’s office around 2.50pm.

Daily Trust reports that the Director General of the Department of State Services (DSS), Yusuf Magaji Bichi and members of the Police Service Commission (PSC) joined the meeting minutes later.

The Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari is part of the meeting convened to review the security situation in the country.

It would be recalled that the President met with Service Chiefs yesterday at the State House over the resurgence of Boko Haram.
