“We thank God that the military has held the country together; and we thank them for bringing peace back again to Yobe State,” he said.
Gaidam noted that the visit by the COAS would enhance the collaborations between the state and the Nigerian Army to clear remnants of Boko Haram terrorists in the country.
Earlier, Buratai, who was on a visit in the state to see the recently established Army Special Forces School in Buni Yadi, said an operation by the Multinational Joint Task Force is going on to clear the remnants of the militants as well as consolidating the gains by opening up more roads that were taken over during the ceaseless attacks.
