President Muhammadu Buhari has congratulated the Saudi Monarch and the Custodian of two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz al-Saud and the Crown Prince, His Royal Highness, Mohammed bin Salman, on the occasion of the Saudi Arabian National Day, yesterday September 23rd.
The president, in a statement Thursday by his media aide, Garba Shehu, said he “deeply” valued the special relationship between Nigeria and Saudi Arabia which was based on cooperation and longstanding mutual support to each other.

Buhari, who said Nigeria remained “firmly” committed to the deepening of the special bilateral relations between the two nations, expressed optimism that this would continue to grow from strength to strength under the keen efforts of both leaders.
He also expressed strong hope that the robust ties between the two nations would be further cemented in the years ahead to cover the existing and new areas of common interests.
