President Muhammadu Buhari has congratulated the general secretary of the Newspaper Proprietors Association of Nigeria (NPAN), Alhaji Mohammed Idris, on his 55th birthday.
In a statement issued on Saturday by his spokesman, Garba Shehu, the president joined family members and friends to celebrate with the influential media and communications entrepreneur, whose profile, he said, continues to rise.

“Buhari saluted the courage of the Kakaki Nupe, chairman of Bifocal Group, owners of WE FM 106.3 and publisher of Blueprint newspapers to invest in the vibrant and dynamic Nigerian media industry and working diligently to always ensure fairness, balance and accuracy,” he said.
