President Muhammadu Buhari is to serve as a special guest of honour in the upcoming public presentation and launch of the Ahmadu Bello University, (ABU) Zaria Alumni Association maiden compendium of its most outstanding members.
Also, president of the Aliko Dangote Industries, Alhaji Aliko Dangote is to be the chief launcher and the Obi of Onitsha, His Royal Highness, Igwe Alfred Achebe and Alhaji Adamu Fika and other reputable Nigerians will grace the occasion on 6 July, Daily Trust learnt.
There are eight sitting governors out of 36 in the country who are alumni of the ABU indicating that 25 percent of Nigerians are being governed by ABU alumni, the National President of the association, Prof Ahmed Tijjani Mora said when he paid a courtesy call on the management of Daily Trust in Abuja yesterday.
Prof Mora said the compendium was a product of long research and careful selection, considering the number of outstanding graduates of ABU across the country and all over the world.
