President Muhammadu Buhari has condoled the Katsina Emirate Council, the government and the people of Katsina State over the demise of Alhaji Abdulkarim Kabir Usman, Sarkin Sullubawa, the district head of Kaita.
The leader of the federal government’s delegation and Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, conveyed Buhari’s message.

Buhari, according to a statement by his spokesman, Garba Shehu, described the deceased as an elder statesman and a successful farmer who contributed to the development of the country with distinction.
He said the deceased was a champion of efforts to eradicate polio from his community, asking business and political leaders to emulate him.
In his response, the Emir of Katsina, Alhaji Abdulmumini Kabir Usman, thanked Buhari for standing with the people of the state in good and bad times.
Governor Bello Masari said the deceased stood fearlessly with Buhari in his political odyssey.
