President Muhammadu Buhari has condoled with the president of the Nigerian Olympic Committee (NOC), Engr. Habu Ahmed Gumel, over the death of his wife, Hajiya Ladi Gumel.
President Buhari, in a statement issued on Wednesday by his spokesman, Garba Shehu, also commiserated with family members, friends and associates of the matriarch of the Gumel family.

The President urged all loved ones to take solace in the worthy testimonies of a life of kindness, charity and obeisance to God.
Buhari prayed that God will receive the soul of the departed, and comfort the family.
