The Jama’atu Izalatil Bid’ah Wa’ikamatis Sunnah, JIBWIS has disclosed that both President Muhammadu Buhari and ex-Vice president Atiku Abubakar are expected to attend its forthcoming Annual Islamic Convention in Abuja.
Daily Trust reports that the event, coming up on Sunday, will also include the launching of an educational appeal fund of N250 million for the purchase of educational materials, ICT, office equipment and operational vehicles.
JIBWIS, in a statement signed by its Publicity Secretary, Ahmad Muhammad Ashiru said that the convention will be held at Old Parade Ground, Abuja.
He said that other dignitaries expected to attend the occasion include governors, ministers, senators, house of representative members, business moguls and other prominent politicians among others.
