Buhari arrives Akwa Ibom stadium as APC presidential campaign kicks off

President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived the Nest of Champions stadium in Akwa Ibom for the flag-off of his presidential campaign in the South-South region ahead of the 2019 polls.

He arrived the stadium amidst cheers from members of the All Progressives Congress (APC), supporters and various solidarity groups who filled the stadium, chanting solidarity songs in support of the president.

Earlier, the APC National Chairman, Adams Oshiomole; its national leader, Bola Tinubu; the minister of Transport, Mr Rotimi Amaechi and Governors of Kaduna, Lagos, Edo and Oyo states were among those who arrived the venue of the event before President Buhari arrived the scene.
