President Muhammadu Buhari and his campaign train have arrived MKO Abiola Stadium, Kuto, Abeokuta in Ogun state for the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential rally in the state.
Buhari arrived at exactly 3pm.
He arrived alongside Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Governor Ibikunle Amosun and the APC governorship candidate in Ogun state, Dapo Abiodun.
Already seated at the venue were APC National leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, former Osun Governor, Rauf Aregbesola, and founding chairman of APC, Chief Bisi Akande.
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo’s wife, Mrs Dolapo and Amosun’s Wife, Mrs Olufunsho had been on ground before Buhari’s arrival.
Also at the gathering are the governorship candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM), Adekunle Akinlade and his running-mate, Mrs Adepeju Adebajo, their campaign Director General, Tunji Sarafa Ishola and Deputy DG, Babatunde Ipaye.
The president is expected to meet with Ogun State Traditional Council at June 12 Cultural Centre, Kuto, shortly after the rally, our correspondent learnt.
