President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed Abike Kafayat Dabiri-Erewa as Senior Special Assistant on Foreign Affairs and Diaspora.
Dabiri-Erewa, who had represented Ikorodu Federal Constituency of Lagos State in the House of Representatives, received her letter of appointment at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa in Abuja yesterday.
She had, at different times chaired the House of Representatives Committees on Media and Diaspora Matters and served as a federal lawmaker from 2003 to 2015.
