Buhari, APC stakeholders hold talks in Aso Rock

President Muhammadu Buhari is currently hosting a meeting with stakeholders of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) at the State House, Abuja.

In attendance at the meeting are the National Chairman of the APC, Senator Abdullahi Adamu; the party’s vice presidential candidate, Senator Kashim Shettima; Senate President, Ahmed Lawan; Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Idris Wase; Chairman of the Progressive Governors Forum (PGF), Governor Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi State.

Governors Babagana Zulum, Borno State; Inuwa Yahaya, Gombe; Abdullahi Sule, Nasarawa; Mai Mala Buni, Yobe; and a former speaker of the House of Representatives, Dimeji Bankole, as well as former governor Ali Modu Sheriff of Borno State.

The meeting comes two days after the party unveiled Shettima as the substantive running mate of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the 2023 presidential election.
