The police in Ogun State have arrested a 30-year-old man, Michael Ogundele, for allegedly shooting and injuring one Tobi Olabisi for having a love affair with his younger sister.
The suspect was arrested following a report lodged at the Idiroko Division by one Alpha Akeem, a community leader in Ihunbo town.
The police spokesman in the state, Abimbola Oyeyemi, on Sunday, said the suspect fired a gunshot at the victim and wounded him.
He said, “On interrogation, the suspect claimed to have warned the victim to desist from dating his younger sister but that he refused.

“On the fateful day, he got information that the victim was sleeping in his sister’s room and that he went there with a Dane gun.
“On getting there, the victim jumped out from the window to escape the likely consequence when he was shot by the suspect.”
Oyeyemi said the victim was rushed to the General Hospital, Idiroko, where “he is responding to treatment.”
