Two highly acclaimed Nigerian superstar singers, Davido and Burna Boy, have announced that they are both to release songs from their respective next albums on the same day, May 13, 2022.
Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, Burna Boy said that his new song, “Last Last” from his next album, “Love, Damini,” would be released on May 13.

The megastar tweeted on Tuesday, “Finally, breakfast will be served midnight 13/05 WAT #lovedamini”, while sharing an image with the words, “Last Last.”
Burna Boy’s announcement came a few hours after Davido had made known his first song, “Stand Strong”, off his next album.
Davido while speaking about the new song on Instagram, said that it would be different from what was usual in his music, stating that Stand Strong was about his private struggles where “every day is a battle.”
He wrote, “For the first time, I want to bring you into the other part of my world. The part where every day is a battle but I have no option but to STAND STRONG. I present to you, the first single off my next album.”
Both Davido and Burna Boy are highly celebrated Nigerian music stars who have become household names in not only Nigeria’s but also the global music industry.
