Gov. Charles Soludo of Anambra has expressed joy over the victory of the Super Eagles at the ongoing African Cup of Nations (AFCON) Cup in Ivory Coast.
Soludo, who lauded the fighting spirit of the Super Eagles, urged them to bring the trophy home.
This is contained in a statement signed by the Press Secretary to the governor, Mr Christian Aburime, in Awka on Wednesday.
The governor who had watched the semi-final match between the Super Eagles and Bafana Bafana of South Africa, commended efforts of the Super Eagles.

The tension-soaked match which went into extra time after both teams played out a one-all draw saw the Super Eagles overcoming their eternal arch-rival 4-2 after a penalty shoot-out.
Soludo who was excited over the outcome of the match, described it as dramatic and scintillating.
The governor commended the fighting spirit and tactical discipline of the Super Eagles team.
He said the team had once again, exhibited the resilience and never-die spirit of Nigerians.
The governor congratulated the team and urged them to go all out in the finals to win the coveted trophy for the nation. (NAN)
