Youths besiege warehouse in Niger State

Report coming from Madalla town in Niger state has it that, youths in their hundreds have besieged a private warehouse, operated by a Lebanese in the area.

Sources from the area told Daily Trust that, the facility previously known as Madalla floor mill located off Abuja/Kaduna highway, has been surrounded by the youths around 9:30 am on Tuesday morning.

They succeeded in gaining access to the facility by scaling the fence.

Madalla floor mill facility, now moribund, was converted to a warehouse recently where businessmen from Suleja and other areas, store their goods.

The services were extended to corporate organizations, government, and also politicians.

Goods believed to be for emergency intervention were reportedly kept during the COVI-19 lockdown.

It was gathered that by 10 am, the youths have started taken goods out of the facility, amid shooting into the air by security personnel deployed to the scene.
