BREAKING: Winner of 2017 NLNG Prize, Ikeogu Oke is dead

Ikeogu Oke, winner of the 2017 NLNG-sponsored Nigerian Prize for literature, is dead.

He died at the National Hospital in Abuja after a protracted illness.

Oke won the 2017 Nigerian Prize for Literature (poetry category) for his book, ‘The Heresiad’.
