Supreme Court dismisses appeal against PDP’s Bala Mohammed

The Supreme Court has dismissed the appeal by former govenor of Bauchi state, Abubakar Mohammed, of the All Progressives Congress (APC) challenging the election of Governor Bala Mohammed of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the March 9, 2019 governorship election.

In the lead judgement by Justice Dattijo Mohammed, the Supreme Court held that the Abubakar and the APC failed to prove allegations against the election of the governor.
