At least four governors from the opposition parties are currently at the Supreme Court where judgment will be given on electoral disputes involving them.
The Supreme Court is expected to give judgment on seven governorship appeals, including Lagos, Kano, Zamfara, Plateau, Ebonyi, Bauchi, and Cross River.
Among the early callers in the court were Governor Abba Yusuf of Kano, who is of the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP).
Others are the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) Bala Mohammed (Bauchi), Dauda Lawal (Zamfara) and Caleb Mutfwang (Plateau).
None of the ruling party governors had been sighted in court at the time of filing this report.
