Nottingham Forest have kicked 14-time winners Arsenal out of the season’s FA Cup competition after a 1-0 win at The City Ground on Sunday evening.
The Championship side and Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal were deadlocked at half-time in the late kick-off, with neither side able to find a breakthrough.

But Lewis Grabban gave the home side the lead in the 83rd minute, converting Ryan Yates’ cross from close range, and they held on to win 1-0, setting up a tie with holders Leicester.
The result means Arsenal have been eliminated in the third round of the cup for only the second time across the past 26 seasons.
Arsenal’s first elimination in the third round also came away to Nottingham Forest in 2018.
The hosts were the better side from the start to the end of the encounter despite their less ball possession.
Arsenal were so poor in the attack that they were unable to muster a shot on target throughout the 90 minutes of play.
They have already lost their two matches in 2022 having fallen to Premier League defending champions Manchester City in their first match of the year.
